PVC gloves and PE gloves are mostly transparent and difficult to distinguish when worn on the hands. If you look carefully, you will find that they are actually very different, which can be distinguished by the following points:
1. Material
PVC gloves are made of PVC paste resin, plasticizer, stabilizer, viscosity reducer, PU, and softened water as the main raw materials, and are made through a special process.
Disposable PE gloves are made of low (LDPE) and high (HDPE) density polyethylene materials, refined and processed with other additives.
Therefore, the feel is different. PVC gloves are elastic, but PE gloves are not. PVC gloves are also slightly softer. This is why PVC gloves come in different sizes, but PE gloves do not.
2. Characteristics
PVC gloves do not contain allergens; they generate low dust and ion content; they are resistant to a certain pH; they have strong tensile strength; they are low-priced, easy to wear, and comfortable.
PE gloves have high transparency; they do not contain allergens, the glove opening is loose, easy to wear, and comfortable; the surface is concave-convex or flat, bright in color, and uniform in thickness; light in weight, good in hand, low in price, non-toxic and harmless, and a universal and economical protection product
3. Application:
PVC gloves are commonly used in electronics, chemicals, food, hospitals, and other industries. It is especially widely used in the operation of semiconductors and precision electronic instruments.
PE gloves are mostly used for household cleaning, food, hygiene, industrial and agricultural protection, hair dyeing, care and washing, dining, etc. for very simple protective operations.
